Concert with the a cappella ensemble “Nice Try” at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa

 “Nice try” is what polite English people say when something has gone quite well, but is not quite worthy of praise yet.

However, in the case of the a cappella sextet of the same name from the Munich area, the name is to be taken with a pinch of salt. The six singers “move confidently in the world of vocal music,” writes the Süddeutsche Zeitung, and “impress with their vocal skills.” Musically, NiceTry a cappella is primarily at home in the golden era of swing and jazz. But folk, pop, and classical music are also part of the group's broad spectrum. With arrangements, some of which are self-written, NiceTry reinterprets well-known and lesser-known songs in an unmistakable way.
