On this simple day tour, we let ourselves be enchanted by the charm of the winter landscape. We hike towards the Hörnlepass mountain inn and continue through the extensive alpine area of the Osterbergalpe, which is farmed in summer. In winter, we enjoy absolute peace and listen to the silence. If the conditions are right, we will make a detour towards Hörnlepass. On this tour in the great outdoors, we leave everyday life behind us and enjoy the solitude on our journey through the quiet winter landscape. An ideal day tour for beginners and everyone who wants a leisurely and relaxed experience.
Duration: approx. 5 hours - expected return around 3 PM
Meeting point: 9:30 AM at the Bergblick guesthouse in Riezlern
Price: € 80.00 including snowshoes and poles; avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe - if necessary
Minimum participants: at least 4 people;
Requirements: Fitness and stamina for physical ascents and descents of up to 400 m in snow and hiking time of up to 5 hours.
Technique: You have no experience in snowshoe hiking but are sure-footed (walking safely in uneven terrain).
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain boots) or hiking shoes, winter clothing, and a backpack with some snacks.
