Torchlight gorge hike through the Breitachklamm

The regular torch hikes take place only in winter - expected to start from December 30, 2025, always on Tuesday and Friday until around mid/end of February (weather permitting) - and only if the Breitach Gorge is open.

There is no box office for the winter torch hikes.

• As soon as it is foreseeable, due to weather and safety conditions, whether the torch hike can take place on the corresponding day, this will be communicated on the Breitach Gorge homepage and the online ticket shop will be activated. Tickets are exclusively available for online booking.
  No sales on site.
• Start- and endpoint at the entrance building Tiefenbach, approximately 1.5 hours (turning point below the upper ticket office).
• If the Breitach Gorge is closed, no torch hikes will take place.
• The transport of dogs is not recommended.
• Bus connection from the Oberstdorf bus station. Only the regular bus operates - special trips are not offered.
