As the saying goes, many cooks spoil the broth - not so in Kleinwalsertal. The valley has a high density of restaurants where enjoyment is a top priority. From a five-course menu at a gourmet restaurant to a rustic snack on a mountain pasture.

Simply delicious. Of course, great food tastes even better with a magnificent panoramic view of the fantastic mountain ridges.

Our small valley is all about enjoyment. This is also how Gault-Millau Austria sees it.

The Gault-Millau restaurant guide is one of the most influential restaurant guides alongside the Michelin Guide, so the Gault-Millau chef's hats for outstanding enjoyment are highly coveted and hard to come by.

The Kilian Stuba from Hirschegg was at the forefront of the Gault-Millau awards with 4 toques out of a possible 5.

Walser restaurateurs have understood that culinary enjoyment begins with the ingredients. This is why great importance is attached to regional products during preparation.

Fresh milk and mountain cheese, smoked ham and organic meat from Walser farmers add that certain little extra to your meal.
